Membership

PledgeLA is a collective of Los Angeles-based venture capital firms working to increase access to capital for all Angelenos. Our members work to close capital gaps (at the founder and fund-level) that impact historically underrepresented founders and fund managers.

Join PledgeLA

By joining PledgeLA as a member, you will work alongside peer venture capitalists, founders, philanthropic, and nonprofit leaders to help increase access to capital in the LA Tech ecosystem.

Requirements to Join

VC Firms: Venture capital firms with at least one investment made in the last 36 months.

LA Presence: Your firm is based in LA or has an active local presence/team.

Commitment: Your firm agrees to fulfill our core commitments:
- - Invest in alignment with PledgeLA’s 50 in 5 goal, to drive 50% of all LA VC dollars to teams with historically underrepresented founders by 2028.
- - Introduce your LPs to our GP/LP Connections program, designed to help emerging managers.
- - Encourage other VC firms to become members of PledgeLA.
- - Regularly update your firm’s data on platforms such as Pitchbook and Crunchbase to ensure LA has up- to-date portfolio diversity metrics.
