PledgeLA & Annenberg Tech supported Tech + Homelessness, an evening of information, challenge, and action hosted by Sutton Capital Partners. More than 200 leaders from across the tech and investment sector in the region gathered to discuss myths & facts around housing in LA, as well as mentorships, skill development and strategic partnerships to benefit people experiencing homelessness. Also in attendance were non-profit partners working to address the homelessness crisis including: Skid Row Power, Safe Place for Youth Host Program (S.P.Y.), Salvation Army, Civic Innovation Lab, Safe Parking LA, Code Talk, Hack for LA and Shower of Hope. The evening brought together a powerful group of leaders and innovators who were challenged to take on this crisis with multiple calls to action benefiting the participating organizations.
